If we met yesterday at NGN, hi! Properly this time.

I’m Nev. I run Nev Photography out of Somerset County and I photograph businesses across New Jersey.

Three ways that usually looks:

Brand sessions for founders. A full library planned around what you’re launching next, not sixty versions of the same pose.

Headshot days for teams. I bring the studio to your office. Five to seven minutes a person, so a team of 40 is done by lunch and everyone’s photos actually match each other.

Commercial work. Product, interiors, launch campaigns.

Most of my clients tell me in the first five minutes that they’re bad at this. They’re not. They’ve just never been given anything to do besides smile.

If anyone can make a staircase look good, it’s Annmarie. 🙌
I had the absolute PLEASURE of (finally) working with her on her branding session. We’d been talking about this for a while, and when the stars aligned, it was pure magic.

We rented Journey 1838 and it was the perfect space. Every corner, every outfit change, we squeezed everything we could out of that day.

Now she’s got a gallery full of images for her website, Instagram, LinkedIn, all of it. Images she loves, feels good in, and that actually look like who she is.

That’s the whole point.

Over a year ago I captured this photo of during a mini session. Just a quick lil 15 minutes 🙂‍↕️

She used it when she launched her new program.

One of her most popular posts.

The image didn’t make the program great, duh, her work did that. But the right photo at the right moment gave her something powerful to show up with.✨

Now we’re planning her first FULL brand shoot and I cannot wait to see what she does with an entire library of images built intentionally around her brand!!🤠

That’s what this work is really about.

Not too often do I get to connect with a business owner that has an office bug enough (and clean enough) for a branding shoot! But my client Mariel had not only an amazing office, but the colors were so true to her brand!

Being photographed in an environment that is true to you is one of the layers of branding photography that is so important. As much as I wish I had my own Studio sometimes, I’m glad that I get to rent out different studios or go on location to do photo shoots because each location can be so different for each person.
