There are some moments you walk into and instantly feel…
this is something special.
The light, the movement, the quiet way they held onto each other — it all came together in a way that didn’t feel posed. It just felt real.

We started in this old mansion full of character and warm shadows, wandered across a wooden bridge, and ended the evening wrapped in soft golden hour.
Every place gave them a new way to show their connection, and honestly… that’s my favorite kind of story to photograph.

Your photos will turn out so much better if everyone is warm enough to relax and smile. Bring coats, blankets, warm layers between shots. Its Ohio y'all and we have SNOW

After a little social media break this summer, I’m back and ready to share all the things I’ve been up to- like capturing my own family session in one of my favorite urban spots (Yes I will forever be mentioning urban when we talk locations!

It was a WONDERFUL summer from a birthday at the beach to countless creekdays to pool days with grandma and movie nights in mom and dads room to slow morning and staying up late to our many day trips and too many boardgames to count. We made so many amazing memories with these boys this year. My only complaint is that it went WAY TOO FAST. I think we can all agree we’d love to freeze our kids in these stages forever. 9, 7 to 8 and 3 to 4 (2 august birthdays!) has lead to my favorite summer yet. Here’s to countless more with my amazing crew!
