People ask me why I chose photography, I have had a love of photography since I received my first camera, a Kodak 110. If you don't enjoy what you do, why continue? I am not your typical photographer...

I love nature, people, animals, I love looking at life through the lens of a camera. While I enjoy photographing Mother Natures natural beauty, I also do portraits (Senior, Prom, Homecoming, Pre-G

raduation, Engagement, Wedding, Family, etc). I prefer to photograph children in their natural settings with Mother Nature's props (the photos come out looking more natural rather then set up) and you have much happier photographs of your children. I do not use a lot of props or staging, I prefer a natural look and feel to the portraits I take. I want everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed and have a good time, I have found that if you are not relaxed and comfortable, it will show. Most of these photos were taken in & around the Helen & Cleveland, Georgia areas. Helen is a small Bavarian style town located in the small town of Helen, Georgia in the North Georgia Mountains. All of the small towns in the North Georgia Mountains are beautiful quiet towns, as are the towns throughout North Carolina & Tennessee, all well worth the visit.

New photos coming as we get a close on this fire. Thank you to all the fire fighters who fought this beast. We are at 97,099 acres with 87% containment, we could not have done it without you & the rain sent down from the Heavens. Thank you to everyone who helped with fighting this fire. Your sacrifices were not unnoticed.

These are photos from the King Fire burning in Po***ck Pines. Many of the photos were taken from Placerville, Carson Rd, Boa Vista Orchards parking lot as well as Crystal View Station. As of 9/19/2014, the fire is at 76,376 acres and 10% containment. We continue to pray for the safety of all those involved, our home owners and the brave men & women fire fighters who are facing this beast head on. May you all stay safe out there. Thank you.

Life has gotten a lot busier in the last month, don't get me wrong, it is good, the reason behind it is not. I now have my children with me on a full time basis after their father passed away last month after a freak accident from a fall off a ladder (please, make sure you have someone to watch you if you are working on a ladder). While we mourn his passing, we celebrate his life and I strive to remind our children what he taught them and to always remember, their father was a good man and loved them very much.
My children are now able to spend more time with the cameras as well & I can teach them so they can learn at an early age as well. My son does photos for his high school yearbook and has helped me with the King Fire photos as well. He is becoming quite the photographer, which helps me since I am still recovering from surgeries. I can't wait to post some of his work for everyone to see. Hope you all enjoy it as much as he enjoys taking the photos.
