I am a Sacramento area pet photographer with a passion for all things pets, photography, and my community. It's my mission to help as many pet parents as I can to capture what makes their furbabies unique, and turn it into incredible art to be proudly displayed in their homes. I specialize in on-location natural light pet portrait photography. I have lived in the greater Sacramento area my entire

life, and wouldn't choose to live anywhere else! With gorgeous year-round weather and incredible outdoor parks and vistas, there are unlimited locations to use as backgrounds for your photographs. Pets have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience and am comfortable around just about any animal you can find - dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, livestock, birds. I have experience with dog training, and am pet CPR certified, so your pets are safe with me!

🐶 15-minute photography session at a Christmas tree farm in Apple Hill (exact location will be provided after booking) for up to 2 dogs and their human family. If you would like to book more than 2 dogs, please purchase additional time when booking.

Today we said our final goodbye to Chex 💕

Chex came to us 15.5 years ago from the Solano County animal shelter. This was way back when Tony and I were dating, and he was in the Air Force. We knew we would be moving into our own apartment soon (at the time, we lived with my best friend), and that he was going to be deployed for four months. I didn't want to be completely alone during that time, so I convinced him to go look at adoptable cats. His only requirements were that it was a younger, more playful cat, and that it was orange (I still have no clue why he wanted an orange cat specifically). We came across this cute little 8-ish month-old orange tabby who followed my finger behind the glass and tried to play, and that was it. I was smitten.

Chex has been such a constant companion to me over the years. Despite only being 8 pounds, he quickly learned as we added dogs to our family that he could put them in their place. After initially being shy around strangers, Chex's social butterfly personality eventually came out, and he wanted to greet everyone who came to the house just like the dogs. He was always very food-motivated, and even learned to sit at the back door for a treat when we were going through training with Omega. He loved Pringles and straws, thought he should be an outside cat (despite being terrified when he actually got to go out), and spent a lot of years sleeping curled up beside me in bed.

The results of this year's were announced, and I'm excited to share I received a Bronze on this portrait of Hank! I don't enter a lot of photography competitions, but I always make time for this one each year because it's judged by some of the absolute best pet photographers in the world, and incorporating their feedback will hopefully make me a better photographer not just for competitions like this but also for my amazing clients.
