So many amazing balloon pilots made their way to the Hot Air Jubilee this weekend. Although weather conditions did not cooperate they still put on an amazing "candle stick" glow.

🚨 TUESDAY NIGHT - FLIGHT CANCELLATION UPDATE 🚨

We are so sorry to announce that this evening's hot air balloon flight has been canceled due to extreme weather conditions. The safety of our passengers, crew, and equipment is always our absolute top priority.

Why We Are Grounded Today:

Extreme Temperatures: The heat index is rapidly approaching 104°F, and a local heat advisory is in effect until 8:00 PM tonight.

Crew Safety: Ballooning is a highly physical activity. It is simply not safe for our hardworking ground crew to run, chase, and lift hundreds of pounds of heavy equipment in these dangerous, sweltering temperatures. Heat exhaustion is a real risk, and we need to keep our team safe.

Equipment Limits: Extreme heat fundamentally changes the physics of how our balloons fly. To get off the ground today, we would have to heat the air inside the balloon to unsafe levels, which risks severe damage to the fabric and burner equipment.

We know how disappointing it is to have a flight canceled, and we share your frustration! However, we will never compromise on safety.

We look forward to cooler temperatures tomorrow morning. Thank you so much for your understanding. Please stay hydrated and stay cool out there! 🧊🎈
