What better way to spend a weekend than doing graduation sessions?

This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to take pictures of Carly, Vivien, Addy, Ella, and Lily, and Makaylah, all seniors at Baldwin High School. Carly is going to the University of Delaware for Education and to cheer, Vivien is going to the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota for Mechanical Engineering and to cheer, Addy is going to CCAC, Ella is going to Slippery Rock University for Psychology, Lily is going to Slippery Rock University for Sports Management, and Makaylah is going to Seton Hill University to study Sports Medicine and then get a degree in Physical Therapy.

On Sunday, I had the opportunity to take pictures of Jack, and Cayleigh and Milana, also seniors at Baldwin High School. Jack is joining the Carpenters Union, Cayleigh is going to Penn State Behrend for Computer Science, and Milana is going to Baldwin Wallace University for Acting.

What better way to spend a Sunday morning than doing a graduation session?

This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to take pictures of Ally and Callie, both seniors at Baldwin High School. Callie is going to Duquesne for nursing, and Ally is going to South Hills Beauty Academy.

After an early four-run lead, Trinity came back and defeated Baldwin last Thursday, 7-5. For Trinity, Jase Hartley had 2 RBI's and Baldwin's Elio Eisel had 2 RBI's. Trinity finished the season with an 11-10 record and did not make the playoffs, while Baldwin is in the WPIAL 5A playoffs with an 11-8 record and will face Moon on Tuesday night. 📸⚾️

HOT STREAK: The Baldwin boys lacrosse team won their second game in a row on Wednesday, defeating Avonworth, 11-3. Senior Mikey Schoeb scored four goals, junior Owen McLuckie scored three goals, junior Kaden Kicinski scored two goals, and senior Josh Staudt and sophomore Landon Dine each scored a goal. The Highlanders then ended their season off with a win against TJ yesterday. 📸🥍

SENIOR NIGHT WIN: On Monday, Baldwin's boys lacrosse team on senior night defeated Allderdice, 7-6. Senior Mikey Schoeb scored four goals, followed by junior Kaden Kicinski scoring 2 goals, and junior Owen McLuckie scoring a goal. The team will end out the season with back-to-back home games against Avonworth tonight, and TJ tomorrow. 📸🥍

BALDWIN INVITATIONAL: On Friday, Baldwin High School hosted the 52nd annual Baldwin Invitational. Hempfield won in both the boys and girls divisions. Some noticeable standouts included Baldwin's boys 4x800 and 4x400 relay teams (3rd place and 4th place), Logan Breisinger (5th place in 300 meter hurdles), Jules Ott (7th in 4x400 relay, 8th in 4x800 relay, and 8th in 400 meter dash), and Becca Gruntz (3rd place in triple jump, and 6th place in long jump). Georgia football commit Kemon Spell from McKeesport also stood out, winning in the 100 meter dash. 📸🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

RECENTLY WITH BALDWIN SOFTBALL: Baldwin's softball team has been incredible this season, having a 12-3 overall record, with a 10-2 Class 5A Section 4 record. These pictures are from games last week against Trinity and TJ. The Highlanders are the runner-up in 5A Section 4 play, and have qualified for the WPIAL playoffs in May. The team will be on the road this week facing South Park, and Montour. 📸🥎

ALUMNI NIGHT WIN: The Baldwin boys lacrosse team defeated Seton on Monday, 9-7. Junior Kaden Kicinski scored two goals for Baldwin. The Highlanders will now go on the road tonight, facing Peters, before visiting Penn-Trafford on Tuesday, and then they will come back home on May 4th for Senior Night against Allderdice. 📸🥍

100 GOALS: Senior Olivia O'Malley scored her 100th goal on Monday, as Baldwin's girls lacrosse team lost to Plum, 19-13. O'Malley scored 8 goals, while freshman Tessa Super and sophomore Namrata Rai each scored two goals, and sophomore Maddie Murphy scored one goal. Baldwin is now on the road tonight against Peters. 📸🥍

SENIOR NIGHT WIN: Baldwin's softball team defeated Bethel Park on Baldwin's senior night, 11-6. Baldwin was down 3-0, until senior Reese Temme hit a triple to tie the game. Baldwin is 11-1, with an undefeated 9-0 WPIAL Class 5A Section 4 record. The Highlanders are on the road tonight against Albert Gallatin. 📸🥎
