I am going to share a little more here than I tend to on my professional page. My older daughter has been asking me about what I’ve been working on, and when I’ve said mostly just the chores of life, she’s gotten a little heated, telling me that I need to do my art. And we’ve been having many conversations about making time for art, the value of art and making time for yourself. These conversations have given me a much needed nudge to make space for that in my life. So, here’s a simple photo that does two things: it got me out on a rainy morning with my camera, and it showcases a beautiful tulip that I planted last fall, and that I had to work to keep the deer off of this spring.
