Sometimes all it takes is a little confidence, a pair of red boots, and a ranch fence to transport you back in time. ❤️

Marcella brought this classic western pin-up to life with her own style, proving that inspiration doesn't have to be copied to be beautifully reimagined. While the original served as our guide, she made the image entirely her own, from her platinum curls and striking red boots to that thoughtful glance toward the horizon.

One of my favorite parts of creating this calendar has been watching each model add her own personality to these nostalgic scenes. No two are alike, and that's exactly what makes this project so special.

The result is a photograph that feels both timeless and uniquely hers.

There is something magical about fall. The cooler temperatures make it comfortable for both horses and riders, and nature provides the most breathtaking backdrop of the year. It's the season that so many people wait for—and for good reason.

Thank you to the Erie Shore Border Brawl organizers for having me capture an incredible weekend. I always enjoy spending time with the mounted shooting community and watching the speed, precision, horsemanship, and sportsmanship that make this event so much fun to photograph.

🔥 Stage 3 is now LIVE! 🔥

For this stage, I wanted to change things up a bit.

Instead of my usual perspective, I grabbed my wide-angle lens, got down in the dirt, and photographed the action from ground level. With so many stages throughout the weekend, I always try to give competitors a variety of images—not just the same angle over and over again.

I hope you enjoy this different perspective as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I can’t wait to share these with you! Between wrapping up the Erie Shore Border Brawl Mounted Shoot galleries and editing thousands of event photos, it may take me a little while to get these calendar images finished, but trust me, they’ll be worth the wait.
