What a beautiful 15 years it was with Snuggles by my side. Today was our last day with her, and we gave her enough kisses for everyone who has ever met & loved her. There was so much sass in her tiny body!!! She was larger than life!!! And even when she was a menace (as all conures are), she still managed to be so dang sweet. Rest in paradise my little tropical chicken. I’m so happy we got to grow up together. I will love & miss you forever and ever 🤍

Everyone who has dealt with the loss of a pet- you are in my thoughts 😢 And I have to give the biggest thanks to Scottdale Veterinary Clinic for having the kindest staff EVER. They made this very hard process a lot more comfortable.

Okaaay now that I’m on a roll, here are some more maternity photos from all the way back in December! This was one of my first Pittsburgh sessions after moving here, and oh my GODDD I love this location so much 😮 When I open my books back up I really really really want to shoot here more often! It’s so close to my apartment- just a trolley ride and a ten minute walk!!!

I’m sitting here winding down from all of the holiday craziness, trying to get my life in order, doing my little New Year’s Eve reflections, and jeeeeez! What a year it’s been! 2022 was my busiest one yet, and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you guys so much for that 🥲 I can’t stop thinking about all of the people I’ve met, all of the friends I’ve made, all of the experiences I’ve had, all because of this job. Being able to live these experiences with you guys and freeze them in time year after year has been an absolute privilege! An honor I DO NOT take lightly!!!

Unfortunately, as this year progressed, I started taking on too much and falling behind in every possible aspect of my work- planning sessions, responding to messages, editing galleries, etc... I'm STILL fighting the burnout and catching up on my final 2022 galleries, and I promise I'm doing everything in my power to get them finished as quickly as possible!

It never feels good to know I haven’t been able to give the best possible experience to everyone. In order to avoid this happening again in the future, I’ll be closing my books and taking a looong break for the remainder of the winter to ✨recharge✨ and make some major changes to the business. I’m super confident that all of the changes I have planned will help things run more smoothly for everyone in the future. So keep an eye out for a brand new website with all kinds of updated information coming within the next few weeks!

Thank you guys so much as always for being so supportive and sweet and understanding. I hope you all have the happiest new year, and I can't wait to take your photos again when spring rolls around 😄 2023 will be better than ever!
