Details That Brought You Here..

Your wedding isn’t just about one day—it’s about the love that carried you here.

The getting-ready robe made from pieces of a loved one’s wedding dress.
The embroidered handkerchief tucked into your bouquet.
The date of your wedding stitched inside your Converse.

They aren’t just details. They’re reminders of the hands that held you, the voices that guided you, the love that shaped you.

And one day, long after the music fades, these pieces will remind you of who brought you here.

💬 What’s one small detail you’d add to honor the people who shaped you?

You don’t need to pose. You just need to feel.

I get it—standing in front of a camera can feel awkward, especially if you’re not used to it.
And if you’re a shy bride? You might be thinking, “What if I look weird? What if I don’t know what to do with my hands?”

But here’s the secret: you don’t have to do anything. The best wedding photos aren’t about perfect angles or forced smiles. They’re about real moments. The way you laugh when your partner whispers something silly in your ear. The way they pull you closer when they think no one’s watching.

So forget about “perfect.” Just be present. I’ll take care of the rest.

Wedding planning got me thinking...

You know those moments when you're scrolling through Pinterest, saving ALL the dreamy flower inspiration, and suddenly realize you have SO many questions for your future florist? Yeah, that's me right now!
I started making a list of questions I'd love to ask (because who doesn't love a good planning list?):

"What's hot in wedding flowers for 2024-2025?" (Because let's be real, we all want that perfect mix of trendy and timeless )
"That cascading bouquet is GORGEOUS, but... how heavy is it really?" (Because my arms need to know what they're signing up for!)
"How do we keep my allergy-prone guests happy and sneezing-free?" (Because we want everyone dancing, not sniffling! )

But I know there must be so many other questions I haven't even thought of yet!

Brides-to-be: What would YOU ask a florist? Drop your questions below!

And florists, we'd love to hear from you too - what's the most unexpected question a bride has ever asked you? Share your stories!

Let's help each other ask the right questions! 💐

What does Valentine’s Day remind you of? An ex? Chocolates? Laughs at McDonald’s with your friends? Or... nothing at all?

I know this day can feel like pure marketing of flowers and sweets, but... what if, beyond that, there’s a story worth telling?

For me, Valentine’s Day is a blend of worlds: before, it was sharing pizza with friends in my hometown. Now, it’s my husband’s company and my baby’s smile, (yes my baby is finally here jajaja).

And if there’s anything I’ve learned as a photographer, it’s that love is found in the simplest moments... the ones that are uniquely yours.

Like that moment at the end of your wedding, when you can finally share a moment alone, take a deep breath, and celebrate that all the stress is behind you. That unique moment when eyes meet and say more than a thousand words.

Because in the end, love isn’t in what we buy... it’s in those little moments that make us smile when we remember them.

So today, tell me: what moment will you keep from this Valentine’s Day?

3 Tips for Dressing for a Studio Session with White Walls & Christmas Decor 🎄✨ (Neutral Colors)

1. Cozy Neutrals 🤍

Opt for soft tones like beige, cream, taupe, and warm greys. These blend beautifully with white walls and Christmas decor, creating a cozy, elegant vibe.

2. Subtle Pops of Holiday Colors 🌿🎨

Add hints of greenery or muted reds—a forest-green scarf, a deep red headband, or a maroon cardigan. These pops tie in the festive spirit while keeping things classy.

3. Play with Textures 🧶

Combine materials like chunky knits, velvet, or corduroy to add warmth and depth against the white backdrop and Christmas decor.

This Family Session Didn’t Go as Planned…

When I arrived to photograph Katy’s family for their first holiday session, I was ready for the usual holiday cheer—but with a 6-month-old, you never know what to expect! At first, their little one was shy, taking it all in. Then, just as we started capturing some quiet moments, he gave us the biggest, sweetest smiles. The result? Photos filled with real, genuine love. 🎄❤️

Here’s what Katy had to say:

“Marien was so much fun to work with! It was our first time getting family photos, and she was great with our 6-month-old! She captured our little family perfectly. We love our photos and can’t wait to do another shoot with Marien!!”

Sometimes, the best moments are the ones we don’t plan. Ready to capture your family’s unique magic this season? Click the link in my bio to book! 📸✨

📸 Remembering my first time in front of the cameras… What an unforgettable experience! 🤩

Some time ago, I had the honor of being interviewed by the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at Point Park. This moment was a celebration of the hard work and dedication from my time at the Business Success Academy. Graduating marked not just the end of a chapter, but also strengthened my commitment to providing real value to my clients.

✨ My mission has always been clear: to capture and tell authentic stories, offering personalized solutions that allow each client’s unique personality to shine naturally. Every step along this journey has proven that when you work with passion and purpose, the results speak for themselves. 🙌
