Hippley Gardens is a botanical garden in Columbiana OH created right in the middle of a residential area. The images were captured with a Kodak M583 digicam on a fairly sunny day. Hippley is a very unique space if you get a chance to visit.

Shot along the newly added (well, a few years back) Ernst Trail in Conneaut Lake , which supposedly goes all the way into Meadville PA. The trail includes a shelter next to wetlands for bird watching. A Nikon D100 with a Nikon 18-55 DX lens was used to capture end of winter feel but pop what little color was in the area.

Shot off of Rt19 near Valont. These are grain silos I have been trying to shoot for about 3 years. I really wanted to get them when they were initially initially installed and were shining bright – but weather, no camera at the time, etc ,etc kept that from happening. Shot with a Nikon D100 which allowed for the bit of color pop at the end of winter due to the D100 having a CCD sensor. A Nikon 55-200 VR lens was used.

Westminster College New Wilmington PA – this really should have just been called “a ****ed off Westminster barking squirrel”. Shot on campus end of winter as one of the college residents was trying to bury his stash (or dig up what one of the college students probably buried). Nikon D100 and Nikon 55-200 VR lens.

Shot during a time it was starting to get colder in the city – making shopping in the Strip District of Pittsburgh finally feel like it was the holidays. A mix of lighting conditions against the remain grit and historical memories of the area set the tone for the set. Shot with a Canon SF880is digicam in primarily 200iso. Great semi-fisheye effect for the side angle shots.
