Kyle+Colleen - a whimsical, cottagecore drenched, Mellon Garden spring engagement session๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿชป๐Ÿƒ

Who else can't get over how gorgeous Colleen's dress choice is alongside her beautiful tattoos? And can we just take a moment of appreciation for how sweetly Kyle looks at her?

We loved everything about the time we spent with these two and their pups! And we can not wait to meet back up in Cook Forest this weekend for their woodsy elopement ๐ŸŒฒ

I will be hosting pet appreciation mini-sessions on August 17th at Derailleur Bike Shop Cafe! They are $50/session and ALL proceeds will be going to Orphans of the Storm (No Kill Animal Shelter). We are also doing a donation drive for them.

If you cant make it for photos, please consider stopping out and dropping off a few urgently needed items- such as litter, cleaning supplies, toys and food.

Thirteen years of loving this man. It might sound cliche but truly where does the time go? Life moves so fast, and our time here is short. How lucky I am to be spending this lifetime with someone like him by my side.โ

These photos are from our ten year anniversary when we went up to the Adirondacks, it feels like even in three short years, we have become different people once again. Over the course of thirteen years we have morphed into many different versions of ourselves, and yet we somehow always fall deeper in love with one another. Meeting someone at 18, and sticking it out for over a decade, you spend a lot of time growing up and learning together. You change, they change. Things fall apart, and they come back together. It's a constant lesson of acceptance, compromise and forgiveness. You see the messiest, worse parts of each other that no one else does. And yet you choose to keep loving one another. You share in all of the crazy moments when you're still young and dumb. But you also get each other through lots of really hard life lessons as you grow up. Looking back, we have come a long way from those two wild, messed up kids who thought they would just be each other's summer flings. Neither of us would have ever believed it if we were told we would still be together 13 years later. Getting into and staying in a committed relationship when you are so young is a unique relationship dynamic that not many truly understand. Sticking it out through the good and bad and knowing that you have a love that just works, one that's consistent and steady, is in my opinion one of the biggest blessings in life. I wish everyone got to experience this type of deep love. Don't believe the hype of hookup culture...this is where the true happiness is. Call me old fashioned, but this relationship is really one of my greatest joys in life. Through it all, here we are, getting through this ride of life together. Forever grateful to be spending yet another year with my favorite person. Happy anniversary to my love!โ

Did you know that if you elope, you can still have an intimate ceremony with your family AND exchange private vows with your partner? โ

Olivia+Mike started their elopement day at the historic Succop Nature Park+Mansion with a ceremony that included their immediate family only. Afterward, they celebrated with everyone over a meal and drinks at The Kaufman Tavern. To end their day, they snuck off for a short hike and exchanged private vows together at McConnells Mills State Park. It was an intentionally curated but relaxed day. We loved the balance of family inclusion and time for just the two of them.โ

Today, we celebrate them on their one year wedding anniversary! Wishing Liv+Mike a very happy first anniversary and cheers to many, many more yet to come!
