Winter.

Death and hibernation. As I solemnly walked my seasonally depressed ass to my car, I couldn’t help but notice how objectively sick this looked. Slowly, I am learning to find inspiration where I am in the current moment. Even if where I am right now is cold, wet, and gray. There are little moments throughout my day where I catch a glimpse of something at just the right angle, and all I can think is “This is gorgeous. This needs to be captured somehow.” So this time I decided to actually grab my camera.
Winter has a habit of making me feel dead inside. Everyday feels the same to me. Gray. Cold. Slow. Difficult. My anxieties are amplified tenfold. I worry. But this year I am learning a lot from winter.

Winter is rest and hibernation.
Winter is the end of a cycle. Winter is making room for new growth.
