What makes a good show series? Is it the arena ground, cattle, or proximity of stalls to the arena? Is it efficiency of the secretary or announcer? Is it the prizes? No. All of those things are important, but they aren’t what makes a good show series at the heart of it. It takes kindness and dedication of leaders. It takes care and support of members in and out of the arena. It takes good stewardship of animals. It takes mentorship of the youth so that this way of life can continue.

Thank you, Ohio Foundation Quarter Horse Association, for another wonderful year. I will see you again next year. Until then, enjoy your photos!

Hello FAHA Summer Series ! This is my last show of the season with you as I’m unable to make the makeup show. I’m on the rail today and will be in the center of the arena tomorrow so that I can get every angle covered this weekend!

Good morning East Coast Stock Horse Association!

Just as a reminder for all shows, it’s your support and purchases that keep me coming to these shows! When people come with cameras who do not have an agreement with the show association and then give photos away for free to their friends, I lose out on profit and can no longer afford to come to these shows. Keep in mind my gas, hotels, and food aren’t covered by the association. Travel costs come out of my own pocket and sometimes I just break even. Then when I can’t afford to come back, everyone who doesn’t have a friend taking photos loses out on quality photos. You may think “well it’s just me taking photos for one person,” but if even a few people think that way then that can add up to hundreds of dollars in losses for me. As always, your support is appreciated!
