Lots of announcements for BKurta Photography today ✨….

I want to start off by saying the past year and a half at my studio has been so incredible. I got the opportunity to meet and photograph so many families. We hosted so many events including Easter and Santa photos and each one was so much fun! Opening my own studio location was such a dream and a huge milestone for my business! I want to thank everyone who booked a session and came out to get photos taken at my studio!

With that being said, I do have some bittersweet news to share. I’ve been putting this off for weeks now as this was not an easy decision.

As of now, the BKurta Photography studio will no longer be accepting booking as I will be ending my lease at the studio. However, I will still be doing photography and BKurta Photography will remain open for bookings!!! I just won’t have the studio location for the time being. This decision came with a lot of emotions and saying goodbye has been very difficult, but my husband and I ultimately decided this is what is best for our family at this point in time.

After patiently waiting for our time to come, my husband and I are proud to announce we are expecting a baby boy in November 2026! While we are extremely sad to close the studio location, we are very excited for this new journey. Although one chapter is closing, another is opening!

Thank you all for the support and encouragement! I hope you all still keep me in mind for any location sessions! I am able to go to most locations as well as photograph events. Until closer to my due date, I will still be accepting bookings except for weddings. I am taking a pause on weddings as it is getting harder to do long events as my pregnancy progresses. My prices will remain the same and I will still have my social media, website, etc! I will definitely be looking into opening another studio in the future as well! Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for always supporting me!

We are devastated to inform everyone that the studio is still without power. Duquesne Light is anticipating the earliest it will restore is 3pm but this time has changed several times. As much as I wanted to make it work for today, I want everyone’s photos to be the best quality and without the proper lighting that cannot be achieved. The hallways also tend to be very dark without lighting and can be a hazard especially on the stairs. So, for everyone’s safety and quality of photos, Easter Bunny will be postponing his visit to the next set of sessions on 3/29 which are all currently open. My husband sent out texts last night to inform anyone with sessions today as well. We apologize for the unforeseen circumstances!

**If you have booked a session for today, please message me asap so we can block off a time slot on 3/29 for you. If that date does not work, we can look into other days or offer a refund.**
