*SWIPE* The cold is settling in here in Pittsburgh… missing the beach a little extra this week. Tbt to our encounter with Hurricane Erin in Topsail, NC.

Looking back at these, it’s clear that the mood and energy shifted before and after the storm. One day was soft and warm, the next felt cool and heavy… The photos didn’t flow together in one batch in my opinion, so I split them into separate acts to show the change instead of trying to force them into the same set.

Thank you for looking! :)

Half baked shoot with my very dear friend Alana. It’s been so special going from high schoolers working together at Jason’s Deli to watching each other start new chapters in our adult lives. I can’t wait to meet your sweet boy!!

These are longgggg overdue, but thanks for looking! :)

Congratulations to the Flahertys!!💍❤️

It sure has been a while since I’ve posted on here. I have a lot of photos from the past year that I still want to share, but I’m starting here because I’m obsessed with this set. As always, thank you for looking!! There’s more to come :)

Peak bloom at the National Cherry Blossom Festival yesterday and it was magical! 🌸💗

Here’s how the festival originated. Back in 1912, Japan gifted Washington, DC over 3,000 cherry trees as a political and symbolic gesture of international friendship and peaceful relations. The U.S. returned the gesture with flowering dogwood trees for Japan.

About 15 years later, school kids reenacted the original planting, sparking what would become the first “festival.” Community based groups helped expand it, and the festival has only grown since. The festival itself is a celebration of culture, connection, and fleeting beauty. Absolutely loved my experience, despite the crowds.

Some pictures from this weekend! The Carnegie Museum of Natural History is a place I’ve loved since childhood. The dioramas are always so fascinating to look at and learn from, and it’s fun to search for all the tiny hidden details within them. No matter how many times I visit, there’s always something new to notice or learn. Check it out if you’ve never been!

❄️ We were going with a wintery vibe for this shoot and I haven’t done a before/after in a long time.

It’s been a while since I’ve been active on here… The past few months have been heavy and Instagram really hasn’t been a priority. I have so many photos I’ve taken over the past few months that will probably never see the light of day. I’m glad to share these ones because we had a lot of fun with this shoot and it felt good to create again. ❄️

Thanks for looking :)

Happy Halloween! 🎃

If you haven’t seen ‘Midsommar’ yet, I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys unsettling movies! We took some inspiration from it for this shoot. Watching the movie feels like a fever dream and reading through theories about the movie after watching can take you down some rabbit holes.

I hope everyone has a safe Halloween and weekend. Thank you for looking! 👻🎃🎃

Just another day in the studio 👻

Our take on the ghost trend. I’ve wanted to do this trend for a while, but didn’t really want to do the same thing everyone else was doing. I’ve never seen a ghost blowing glass though.. 😁

Keep your eyes out for more Halloween content that I’m working on! :)

Aurora Borealis from my backyard. It was barely visible to the naked eye, but my camera was able to pick it up.

I went down a rabbit hole after taking these pictures. Cameras can pick up the aurora borealis better than eyes because of how they capture light. Our eyes rely on rods and cones… rods help us see in low light but don’t perceive color well. Cones see color but need more light. Cameras see differently than the human eye. They can use long exposures, which means they collect light over a period of time.. this allows the camera sensor to gather more light which illuminates more color. I thought that was pretty cool. I added contrast to what I downloaded from my camera and those are the photos seen above.

Thank you for looking!! I have some fall festival pictures to post from Mars Applefest and Oktoberfest, so keep your eyes out for those. :)

📍Washington, DC

Going to DC was the highlight of a business trip I took a few weeks ago. My boyfriend had never been, so he tagged along with me. After my conference, we ventured into DC. We went to a ramen shop (which was soo good) and then explored the National Mall. I didn’t know the Lincoln Memorial was undergoing a multi-year restoration project, and there was a lot of scaffolding around it, but it’s okay. They’re also building a visitor center/museum underneath, to be completed sometime in 2026.

Anyway, the metro was kind of chaotic, but the exploring together was really fun and the ramen got a thumbs up from us.

Thanks for looking!! :)
