I wish I could explain to you how much you actually want these photos, but it’s something you don’t realize until your baby isn’t a tiny anymore. I always tell my clients who are pregnant with their first baby to get photos that first year. It doesn’t even have to be with me. I don’t care. I just want you to get those photos with your babies. Because before you know it, they won’t be little anymore and I know how important it is to document this stage of motherhood 🌸

Sometimes I forget why I started getting into newborn sessions and then I think back to when my first baby was little, I was deeply in love. I was in love with her little features, her smell, her little toes, her beautiful nursery and how teeny tiny she was. When she became a bigger baby and I started getting into photography I decided to try out newborns. Let’s just say I fell in love right away.

I think one of the perks of this job is meeting so many wonderful mothers! As a as a mother myself to three small children, it can be so fun to relate to things. After having a baby or being pregnant, sometimes it’s nice to talk to someone who might understand what you’re going through. Even if I don’t understand, I love hearing your story❤️

This is definitely been one of my busiest winters so far. If there are a few lessons to be learned, I may take it a little easier next winter. I find that after the busyness of the holidays and the fall sessions, a little break is much needed.
