I recently shot a group of commercial properties for sale in Iola. There are five parcels in various sizes. Three are on the main drag running through Iola; the other two straddle the highway a few blocks north of town. All great sites with a lot of potential. I was recently asked to capture some photo and video for First United Methodist Church of Pittsburg Kansas. It's a beautiful downtown church that remains very active in our community. They've recently done a facelift on their building that is a lovely combination of classic and modern that fits Downtown Pittsburg perfectly.

I did a short video compiling together some of the video footage I shot. For the musical setting, I created an arrangement of the traditional Welsh hymn tune Hyfrydol. Written in the nineteenth century, the true has a long tradition in the Methodist Church, especially as a setting for several of Charles Wesley's hymns including "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling."

As usual, I'm behind on posting, but First United Methodist in Pittsburg asked me for some photos to help celebrate their recent upgrades. The facade of the church is a beautiful combination of classic and modern that fits perfectly with the vibe of downtown Pittsburg.
