I was going to wait until tomorrow to share part four of Kit & Jack’s wedding weekend. After seeing the news of Dolly Parton’s passing, it felt like the respectful thing to do for such an icon.

But then I thought about what Dolly represented and saw all the videos and memories people were sharing. She was so much about love, light, laughter, and living life to the fullest.

And it made me think, why wouldn’t I share more of a beautiful moment in two people’s lives? A day spent surrounded by the people they love most, celebrating, laughing, dancing, singing, and simply enjoying being together.

In a way, that feels like the perfect way to honor someone who reminded us to find the joy, love people well, and make the most of the life we’re given.

So, here’s part four. A whole lot of love, a whole lot of life, and a reminder to celebrate both whenever we get the chance.

Part three of Kit & Jack’s wedding weekend.

Beautiful portraits, an incredible design by the best team, the most stunning cake by the one and only Raina T. Washington - Cake Artist , gorgeous florals by Yonderyear Farm , and dreamy views of the venue before a crazy storm rolled in.

We all bunkered down in the barn for over an hour while it passed, but once those clouds cleared, the sunset SHOWED OUT. You would’ve never known what had just rolled through.

And a huge shoutout to Jordan Snider | Virginia Wedding Planner & her team for working their magic and getting the tent back in order before guests returned. Truly the best at what they do!

Trying to fit 17 hours of Kit & Jack’s wedding weekend into a few posts feels nearly impossible, but here we go. There were so many sweet moments, so much fun, and so many intentional details woven throughout the entire weekend.

Alyssa & Adam had the sweetest intimate ceremony at their church, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was perfect.

While they’ll celebrate all over again next year in Punta Cana, which I already can’t wait to capture, there was something so special about documenting the part that means the most. The ceremony, the commitment, and two becoming one.
