Babieessssss. Working on PART 5️⃣ of the Falany's wall gallery (that I designed on an XL index card via zoom at my sewing table desk in my bedroom while my husband did our almost 4yo's bedtime).

FIFTH Addition! We started with their 10th wedding anni, redesigned to add their first maternity session - leaving space for their newborn session. Two years later, we added maternity session number two and then, oh darn! We're out of room and are starting their next wall 🤩🤩🤩 It's gonna be a goodie!

Happy Mother's Day 💙🩵

It's been a very busy, very wonderful two months in the Lopez household, family of four 🥳🥳🥳

Of all that has changed, I've been surprised at how easy the newborn part of the equation is...relatively speaking 🤩

How funny this thing called motherhood - it calls you to your edge then brings you so much higher than you could ever have imagined. And suddenly hard things like taking care of a newborn don't seem so hard because you've done it once before.

There's a quiet and powerful confidence that comes along from the first and let me tell you, it's underrated.

My birth was incredible and the most empowering thing in my life!...to anyone expecting their first or wondering how the heck can someone say "incredible" about birth...well stay tuned I'd love to share more.

I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day in all the shades of celebration and tension that may come with a day like today for a human like you.

I'm looooving this non-traditional image for a large statement piece! Would you go for a more meaningful moment like this over a traditional portrait? Who would have a hard time letting go of the smiling faces/classic portrait?

Wedding Planning isn't always sunshine and rainbows (hello learning curve, other people's opinions, too many choices, and 100's of decisions). There's a lot you just can't know about planning a wedding until you've been there done that.

Happy New Year!

Startin' the year off right here at TDP by celebrating another 10% give back!

The last day of the year is my favorite business day of the year because it's when I tally up all profits from wall galleries, albums, and printed products to find out how much I get to give away to the sewing centers of Elegantees! This year was dollars shy of $400!

Why did I choose Elegantees? They're doing fashion ethically, sustainably, AND paying their makers fairly - that is so tough to do (but really should be the norm).

"We believe if a customer doesn't love a dress enough to buy it at a fair price, then they don't need it.

We encourage a smaller closet of pieces you love, instead of a full closet of "bargains" with nothing to wear. For this reason, we're cautious about what we produce. You won't find our clearance selection full of overstocked inventory."
