Life update 🤍
I know many of you have still been messaging this page about booking sessions, & the message not being delivered — here’s why ⬇️
My last ‘official’ session was in May. As you know, this was my life for a decade. What started my junior year of high school as a way to earn a little spending money turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. — Balancing photography with a full-time job since 2019 was easily one of the most challenging, yet draining seasons of my life. Over the years, I spent countless nights getting off work & heading straight to sessions/editing, weekends working weddings, & squeezing in other sessions, because the sun never seemed to stay up long enough.
Last March, I accepted a full-time job that I had always dreamed of doing one day and that’s when I decided to take a break. This last year has taught me that you only get one life to live, and I can’t tell you how good it feels to simply come home and just be present. — whether it’s supper on the porch with Damion, catching up on house chores without guilt, or going to bed without my laptop. This season of life has been so good to me, and I know one day, when I have human babies of my own, I’ll offer sessions again.
But as for now, I’ll only be offering sessions for family, friends, & returning clients. I am forever grateful for every recommendation, every session, every wedding, & every ounce of support you’ve shown Maddie B Photography over the last 10 years. Because of you, my hobby turned into a career. — I’ll always carry this season of my life with so much gratitude. 🤍📸
