I was so impressed as I photographed and chatted with Camille during her First Communion portrait session. She shared about her faith, how much she loves Jesus, and what her First Communion decision means to her.

All through the session, as I was photographing her and listening to her adorable little voice explaining to me the value of taking her first communion. I felt recharged, "taken to church" if you will. Her excitement about taking this next step in her relationship with Jesus was beautiful to witness. This afternoon I was able to reflect on the day I made the similar decision a long time ago.

The church was undergoing some renovations, but we were still able to find some pockets of light, especially near the
stained-glass windows where the light seemed to surround her in color and beauty, which is symbolic of Jesus' love for us.

Thank you Cherise B Rino for allowing me to photograph your sweet Camille! It was an honor and I look forward to introducing this type of session into my future session offerings.

Before turning my attention to the Class of 2027, I finish out the 2026 high school senior season, with
August's senior experience was photographed in two parts. We started in the fall, capturing him outdoors enjoying some of his favorite things, hunting and spending time with his pup. For part two, we created a completely different look with classic indoor portraits, sharply dressed and ready for the next chapter. We managed to get a few with his soccer ball at his feet. August is trading in his menard eagles gold and green 💚💛🦅 for the blue and red La Tech Bulldogs ❤️💙 !

Something a little different from my usual photography!
I spent Sunday photographing a fun group of cosplayers at The Mill in New Iberia during a PPLA Member-2-Member event. It was a fun day of creativity, collaboration, and trying something new...thanks to for making this happen! Thanks to for allowing us to use the facility!

The Air Force Academy is Clark's next stop. He will head out to Colorado Springs, Colorado in June.
I enjoyed helping him bring his senior portrait ideas to life. Between cross country running (my favorite shots), his future at the Academy, and including his two best puppy dogs in the session (my favorite shots too), this senior portrait session couldn't have gone any better than it did!
We wrapped up his session at the Air Park, Air Force base, which could not have been a more fitting ending to his session. 🎓✈️🇺🇸

From Pineville High to Ole Miss ❤️💙
JP’s senior session took us from the studio to downtown, River Oaks, and finally the tennis courts where he absolutely brought the energy. His serve is fierce, his knees practically touch the ground everytime he serves, and yes… I have the hundreds of frames to prove it.
Can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds for him. Next stop, Oxford! ❤️💙🎾
