HAPPY MONDAY!

A few reminders because I feel like there’s been a lot going on lately! 🤍

First, I wanted to remind all my amazing clients that I am completely booked for 2026! That means I am no longer accepting any new bookings for the rest of the year. I seriously cannot thank everyone enough for keeping me so busy this year. I never expected to have as many weddings and sessions as I do, and I’m so grateful for every single person who has trusted me with their memories!

HOWEVER, 2027 IS OPEN FOR BOOKING! I’ve already been getting quite a few inquiries, and I’m SO excited for all of the sessions and weddings I have coming up! I seriously cannot wait to see what 2027 brings and to meet all of the new faces coming my way.

As for Christmas Minis… I’m honestly still unsure if they’re going to happen this year. I originally had three different sets planned, but with how many weddings I’ve taken on toward the end of this year, I just don’t think it’s going to be realistic. As much as I would LOVE to do them, I don’t want to overbook myself and end up stressed or unable to give everything the attention it deserves. So for now, I’m leaning toward not doing them this year. If anything changes, I’ll definitely let everyone know!

And lastly, I’m officially back to work as of today! Which means things may be a little slower than they have been lately. I’m still going to be working on photography stuff after work and on my days off, but unfortunately I can’t spend my entire day working on photography anymore like I have been while I was off.

So if you’re waiting on a gallery, response, sneak peek, editing, etc., please just be a little patient with me! I promise I haven’t forgotten about you. 🫶🏻 You all know I do my best to keep everyone updated as much as possible with galleries, timelines, and where I’m at with everything. I’ll continue doing that! I’m still working behind the scenes whenever I can, I just have to balance my actual job and photography now.

As I prepare to head back to work on Monday, I just wanted to give everyone a little heads-up that there may be slightly longer response times, proof galleries, and final gallery delivery times.

I’m working hard to get as much done as possible before I go back to work, but once I’m back into my normal work schedule, I’ll have less time during the day to dedicate to photography.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as I balance work and photography! I’m still working behind the scenes and will get everything to you as soon as I can.

I cannot believe I’m actually saying this… but I am officially closing my 2026 books for the time being!🥹🤍

As much as I would LOVE to say yes to every single inquiry that comes my way, I’ve had to make the decision to set a little boundary for myself (which is very hard!) My calendar has been BUSY BUSY BUSY, and I never want to get to the point where I’m overbooked and can’t give each of my clients the experience, attention, and care they deserve.

So, for now, 2026 is CLOSED for new bookings.

BUT, if you are already talking to me, waiting on a booking link, or currently in the process of booking your session, DON’T WORRY! This does NOT include you. You’re still good to go!

And honestly… closing my books feels a little surreal. When I started this business, I never imagined I’d reach a point where I’d have to turn away inquiries because I’m simply too booked. I will never, ever take that for granted!

BUT HERE’S THE EXCITING PART… 2027 IS STILL OPEN!

I’ve already had several 2027 inquiries come in, including a few full sessions just this past week, and I am SO excited for what next year is already looking like!

I am currently accepting 2027 full sessions AND weddings, but availability is going to be limited... especially as I continue taking on more weddings.

If you’ve been thinking about booking with me for 2027, I would highly recommend reaching out sooner rather than later!

Booking early means:
✨ More dates to choose from
✨ A better chance of getting your preferred season/month
✨ Less stress trying to find a date later
✨ And you get to officially have your session on the calendar and look forward to it!

Because the truth is… I don’t know how quickly 2027 is going to fill up. If 2026 is any indication, I definitely don’t want you to wait until your ideal date is right around the corner only to find out I’m already booked.

I am SOOOO beyond behind on sharing all of the wonderful sessions I’ve had over the last few months!

It’s that time of year where I unfortunately (but fortunately 😅) disappear from social media for long periods of time—not because I want to, but simply because my amazing clients have kept me BUSY!

I also don’t do scheduled posts, which would probably help me stay a little more present on social media, but honestly… that’s just not me. I like finding a moment when I feel called to share something, sit down, look through the images, and make a post right then and there. And today, I remembered this ADORABLE 1/2 birthday milestone session!

I got to work with Payton’s mom and brother last night for his senior session, and it immediately reminded me that I never shared these photos of the cutest little guy!

How is this little guy almost 8 months old already?! It feels like just yesterday I was photographing Payton’s maternity session, and then a few weeks later, Hudson’s newborn session. Time really does fly by!

One of my absolute favorite parts of photography is getting to witness families grow. There is something so incredibly special about being welcomed back into a family’s life and getting to photograph another chapter of their story. From maternity, to newborns, to milestones, seniors, weddings, and everything in between… getting to grow alongside my clients is truly one of the greatest gifts photography has ever given me.

And honestly, that’s what makes all of this so much more than just taking pictures to me. It’s the friendships, the connections, the memories, and getting to be there for so many little (and big!) moments throughout your lives.

I truly could not be more grateful for every single friendship I’ve made through this little business of mine!

Without photography, I wouldn’t have you.
And without you, I wouldn’t have AGP.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. To every client who has trusted me with their memories, every family who keeps coming back, every person who recommends me, shares my work, cheers me on, or has supported Alexis Guidas Photography in any way over the years! A LITTLE 2027 UPDATE!

I wanted to share this now so everyone has plenty of time to plan ahead and knows what to expect going into 2027!

As many of you know, photography is something I truly love! I am so thankful that I get to meet so many amazing people, capture your milestones, watch your families grow, and continue seeing so many familiar faces year after year. It means more to me than I can explain when you continue coming back and trusting me with your memories!

As I look ahead to 2027, I will be taking on more weddings! I already have a couple weddings booked, and I am so excited to continue growing this part of my business. With that being said, taking on more weddings means I will have fewer openings available for full portrait sessions.

This year has really shown me that I need to find a better balance. Even though I absolutely love photography, it can be very easy to burn out when I am constantly working, photographing, editing, answering messages, planning sessions, and trying to keep up with everything behind the scenes, while also balancing everyday life.

Running a photography business is so much more than just showing up with a camera. There are SO MANY hours that happen behind the scenes, and I want to make sure I am continuing to give every client the time, creativity, and care they deserve.

Because of that, I am going to be more intentional about the sessions I take on in 2027. I will be taking fewer full sessions throughout the year so I can slow down, enjoy the process, and continue creating work that I am truly proud of.

Since weddings will take up more of my weekends, full sessions in 2027 will mainly be offered on weekdays, with some weekend exceptions when my schedule allows. Weekend availability will be much more limited than it has been in the past.

For those of you who book with me multiple times a year, have supported my business from the beginning, or continue coming back year after year, I want to make sure you have the opportunity to book before my calendar fills up. My loyal returning clients will receive priority access to pre-book their 2027 sessions before I open the remaining dates to everyone else.

Returning-client pre-booking will open on August 8th, 2026.

If you already know you’ll want photos in 2027... whether it’s family photos, couples photos, maternity, senior portraits, milestones, branding, or your yearly updated pictures, I encourage you to start thinking ahead and reach out early!

I am incredibly grateful for every person who has supported me, shared my work, recommended me, booked with me, or trusted me with some of your most important memories. I truly don’t take any of it for granted!

It truly feels like such a full circle moment getting to photograph Regan again!

The very first time I met Regan and her mom was back in 2022 when we captured her high school senior photos. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the end of one chapter, and now, here we are documenting another incredible milestone... her college senior session!

One of the greatest parts of this job is getting to grow alongside my clients and be invited back to capture life's biggest moments. Watching them chase their dreams, accomplish their goals, and seeing where life takes them is something I'll never take for granted.

I absolutely loved that we were able to make this session so uniquely you by incorporating something that means so much to both your life and your future. Getting to work with your cow, Canon, made the session even more special and was such a fun experience! I always love when my seniors choose to include something that tells their story because it makes their photos that much more meaningful.

Regan, congratulations on everything you've accomplished. It was such an honor to celebrate this exciting season with you once again, and I'm so grateful your family trusted me to tell your story for a second time. Wishing you nothing but the very best in this next chapter!

Charlotte turned ONE, and I had the sweetest time getting to meet her and her family while capturing this special milestone for them!🥰

There is something so magical about being welcomed into a family’s story for the first time and getting the opportunity to preserve these memories for them. From the little smiles and giggles to the sweet moments shared between them, this session was filled with so much love and joy.

Milestone sessions will always hold such a special place in my heart because these are the moments that pass by way too quickly. One day, these little details, the tiny hands, the big personality, and the way your family loved this season, will be the memories you treasure most!
