This Memorial Day, I’m reminded how important it is to slow down, hug your people a little tighter, tell the stories, take the photos, and appreciate the time we have.

Senior pictures hit a little different when it’s your youngest nephew… and the last of the “babies” in the family to graduate. 🥹📸

One minute they’re running around covered in dirt, laughing at everything, and somehow overnight they’re standing in front of your camera talking about the future.

That’s the weird thing about life… you don’t realize you’re watching the “good old days” while they’re happening.

Proud is an understatement. Watching this kid grow into the person he is becoming has been pretty incredible.

And yeah… this session probably had me behind the camera in my feelings a little more than usual. ❤️

Sometimes it’s loud pipes, messy hair, a little attitude, and confidence that turns heads before words ever do.

Sometimes beauty looks like standing in your own lane while the world keeps trying to hand you directions.

That silhouette on the bike?
That’s freedom.
That’s confidence.
That’s someone unapologetically taking up space in a world that constantly tells people to shrink themselves.

Find beauty in the sunsets… sure.
But also find it in the rebels, the risk takers, the scars, the noise, the late nights, the horsepower, the people chasing life wide open.

Beauty was never meant to fit inside one definition.
