Holy Father,

We approach your throne with the thankfulness that your peace is not dependent on outside circumstances. True peace only comes through a right relationship with you through Christ.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you” is the legacy Jesus left with his disciples (John 14:27). We pray this legacy is passed on to our grandchildren by your Spirit guarding their hearts from a world that tries to tell them different. Let us be the example of the peace you bring through harmony, wholeness, completeness, and tranquility with our relationship with you, our family, and others.

Lord, indwell your spirit in our grandchildren with a peace that is abundant, available in every situation, and unlike anything the world has to offer.

In Jesus’ name,

Heavenly Father,

We confess that, both as a nation and as individuals, we have lost sight of the true meaning of Christmas.

We’ve prepared our homes instead of our hearts.We’ve preoccupied ourselves with To Do lists instead of contemplating Christ’s Incarnation. We’ve decorated our mantles with lush greenery instead of remembering the dried straw on which Jesus lay.

We’ve perused cookie recipes instead of immersing ourselves in the Word of God. We’ve shared greeting cards and gifts without sharing the Good News. We’ve wished our neighbors “Happy Holidays” without wishing them “Merry Christmas!” We’ve chased an emotion instead of seeking the Truth.

Please forgive us and guide us as we endeavor to put Christ back into Christmas. And help us to show our families how to do the same.

In Christ’s Name, we pray.
Amen.

The cost of printing the calendars has gone up, but I love the quality so I'm not switching printing services. I am also NOT raising the cost of buying them! I get such joy out of creating the pages & I pray the photos & scriptures bring you joy as well! I will place the order on Monday (11/4), so please let me know if & how many you would like! $15 EACH
