One of my favorite moments during a senior session is when a parent steps in for a few photos.

Because while graduation celebrates one student, it also reflects years of love, encouragement, sacrifice, and prayers from the people who helped them get there.

Those photographs become more than senior portraits. They become a reminder of this season and the family who walked through it together.

Congratulations, Jeanne, on graduating with honors and beginning your next chapter at Texas A&M, where you'll be studying Mechanical Engineering.

Praying that the Lord blesses and keeps you, establishes the work of your hands, and surrounds you with His favor as you begin this next chapter. Congratulations to your entire family on this incredible milestone.

I'm not quite ready for summer to come to an end.

Maybe it's the way the evenings seem to slow down just enough for us to linger a little longer. The golden light. The laughter drifting through the backyard. One more walk. One more trip for ice cream. One more sunset.

Summer has a way of reminding us that some of life's sweetest moments aren't the ones we plan. They're the ones we simply make room for.

So I'm choosing to soak in every bit of what's left before another season quietly finds its way here.

Because seasons change faster than we expect, but the moments we share have a way of staying with us.

I'm just not ready to say goodbye quite yet.

The older I get, the more I realize that home isn’t a place.

It’s the people who walk beside you through every season of life.

It’s the hand that reaches for yours without thinking.
It’s the laughter that fills an ordinary afternoon.
It’s the beautiful chaos of raising children while trying to savor every fleeting moment.

As a family photographer, I often hear parents talk about wanting to remember this stage before it changes.

And it always does.

The little shoes become bigger ones.
The walks become shorter.
The children become more independent.

What feels ordinary today often becomes the memory you wish you could revisit tomorrow.

That’s why these photographs matter.

Not because everything is perfect.

But because this is real life and real life is worth remembering.

Most people hope for sunshine when they think about family photos, but this beautiful family session is a reminder that cloudy skies bring their own kind of magic.

The clouds scatter the light across the sky, creating a soft, dreamy glow that wraps around every moment and follows us almost everywhere we go.

And honestly, it’s a kind of magic I’ll never get tired of.

Senior sessions are never really about a cap and gown.

They’re about capturing a season that feels impossible to put into words. The season where a young man is standing between who he’s been and who he’s becoming.

As I looked through these images, I kept thinking about all the different versions of him they hold. The athlete. The student. The dreamer. The confident young man finding his own style and his own voice. The one preparing for what’s next while carrying everything that brought him here.

For his family, this season holds even more meaning. Not only are they celebrating graduation, they’re celebrating the next chapter as he prepares to become an LSU Tiger - a milestone that represents years of hard work, determination, and dreams taking shape.

Graduation marks an accomplishment, but these photographs tell a bigger story.

Because years from now, I don’t think these will simply remind his family that he graduated. They’ll remind them of who he was in this moment. His confidence, his determination, his personality, and the quiet excitement of a future waiting to unfold.

Every version of who he’s becoming is already here.

Zoe ATE down.

At the time I was still figuring out if seniors was a direction I wanted to grow into.

Zoe made that decision easy. There is something about this season of life that just fills me up. Every session feels like hanging out with a friend.

Zoe is that girl and trust me, she will be that girl in every room she walks into. I pray that quiet confidence stays with her every step of the way.
