Prayers over my Class of 2026 seniors. 🎓🙏🏾

Being trusted with a moment this significant. One that only comes around once is something I will never take for granted.

God, cover them. Order their steps. Protect them, guide them, and let Your purpose for their lives unfold beautifully. ✨

I found something. 🪻

And no — it is not Crowley.

A brand new wildflower location in West Richardson that stopped me in my tracks the moment I walked up on it. Dense blooms, hilltop golden hour, completely off the radar. Nothing like what the season has offered at Crowley this year.
Booking dates for my May Wildflower Petite Sessions dropped tonight exclusively to my email subscribers.

This is exactly the kind of thing I only share there first.

A little behind the scenes of how these moments come together 🤍

03/21/2026

A little glimpse behind the scenes from this week’s senior session with the tulips .

This season carries such a quiet beauty, full of change and becoming, and stepping into documenting it has felt like such a natural evolution of the work I’ve been doing with families over the years. It’s still about connection, still about preserving what matters, just in a different chapter.

I’m now officially offering senior sessions and have one mid-April weekend available if this season is one you’ve been wanting to hold onto.

I really loved working with Thea R. Armstrong and her daughter. She did amazing and I already have so many favorites from our time together!

Spring Break officially begins for my kids tomorrow and I’m looking forward to the week with them.

Our rhythm is usually a mix of cozy days at home and a few spontaneous outings or little adventures around DFW.

Tomorrow I’m sending something fun to my email list, a guide with 20+ Spring Break activity ideas around DFW if you’re looking for things to do with your kids next week.

These are the kinds of things I love sharing inside my email list. Think of it a little like a journal… reflective moments, galleries I don’t always share publicly, helpful tips for families, and first access to Petite Sessions throughout the year.

I actually get a lot of requests around this time asking when Petite Sessions will open again, and those are now announced exclusively to my email list first.

I’ve been moving differently lately. Slower, more present, and less attached to controlling every detail of a session.

That shift carried into these portraits.

I still come in with intention. I still guide. But I’m not gripping the moment the same way I used to. Instead of trying to perfect every frame, I’m allowing more space inside it.

And when there’s space, something shifts.

She was able to move more freely to fully lean into the femininity and softness this session was meant to embody.

That surrender shaped this set in a way I’m really proud of.

🌷 Only two will step into the tulips with me this spring.

Tulip season is here, and I’ll be releasing two Petite Session spots, thoughtfully scheduled for when the blooms are expected to be at their most beautiful.

These 30 minute sessions are thoughtfully paced to allow you to settle in and feel fully present. In that time, connection deepens, confidence emerges, and the subtle details of this season begin to reveal themselves.

Ideal for families, couples, seniors, or personal portraits, this refined window is designed to capture what feels most true to you.

A brief window.
Beautifully held.

I’ll be releasing the full details to my email list on Monday morning.

If you would love first access, make sure you’re on my email list before then.

From the moment I met them, the Nieves carried this warm, grounding energy that created a calm I didn’t even know I needed. Their presence felt like an exhale, and because of that, I was able to create from a place of flow, fully immersed in the beauty unfolding in front of me.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of documenting their family’s evolution from three to four. Each time, they show up with such tenderness, such ease. They’re one of those rare families who truly become part of your life. The ones who remember you during the holidays, who check in just to say hello, who reflect back the heart behind what you do.

Our time together this past November was no different. It was a cool evening, and we ventured out to a tucked away creek that required a bit of a hike. The light was soft, the air crisp, and the location, though beautiful, wasn’t the easiest to navigate. At one point, I found myself wedged into the tightest little nook, balancing over the edge of the pond, one misstep away from a chilly swim, all in pursuit of the shot I saw in my heart.

And through it all, the Nieves were so present, so trusting. There’s a quiet magic that happens when a family leans all the way in, giving you the space to create without holding back. That trust is everything.

So grateful for the families who make this work feel like home.
