Paddled upstream from the put in to get to this point. I saw two banded water snakes hanging out on a rock in the creek. One ran away when he saw me the other stayed and posed for a few pics. It was raining a bit when I shot this.

Pretty spot as the creek turns and follows hwy 9 for a short distance. The best rapids on the float are in this area.
