It's that time of year again when the Cougar Shadow makes it's appearance on the Superstition Mountains. Here's a quick timelapse of it. Enjoy!

It's been about 8 years since I've visited here and the colors in Canyon X never fail to disappoint. While more of a "hidden" slot canyon compared to Antelope Canyon this tour is much more of slower pace and so many less people. Enjoy!

A few weeks ago my friend Mike sent me a post on Instagram saying I should go for a specific photo should I ever get the chance. I knew the window of opportunity to get it was soon but I didn't know when- especially since I had taken the last 5-6 years off. Happened to be this month in September specifically the 9th-12th and it was all dependent on the weather if it was even possible in the first place. Checked my work schedule and took the 12th off. Was already dedicated to do my best to get the shot but with everything going on the last few days I just wanted to get away even more. Last night I camped in Valley of the Gods in Utah just watching the milky way with my own eyes, tons of storms in the distance lighting up the skies and I watched the moonrise before calling it a night. Covered just over 750 miles between yesterday afternoon and getting home today at 3pm.

Here is, by far, one of my favorite pics I've ever taken over the years and only happens a few days a year! Enjoy the Monument Valley Mitten Shadow!

Many of you who follow me on here have seen I haven't posted much of anything lately. I took a break for a couple years but I'm back at it. I'm contemplating on using this page moving forward or just sticking to my Instagram page. In the meantime, you can see more of my work there. Thanks!

Last light over the Coconino National Forest

When people think of Arizona the first thing that comes to mind is that it’s a desert. While this is true, many people don’t realize just how much this state has to offer. There is over 18.6 million acres of forest and woodlands making up just over 25% of the state making this a campers paradise!

Sedona Golden Hour

It's been just over a year since I've posted anything and about the same time since I've been to Sedona. I've been focused on my career and life in general. Things are going good!

I decided to venture back out to Sedona for my birthday week this past week and I was surprised to see how much it has changed. Anyway it was cloudy all day and right at sunset the clouds gave way to this awesome light on the red rocks. I had to get a shot of it so here's a birds eye view of Sedona at sunset. Enjoy!

"An Hour With the Giants"

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Its been a while since I've posted anything so here's something new!

I spent the last couple nights camping in the near freezing temps of Joshua Tree National Park. Was able to come home with a few images and this is one of them. I hiked pretty far in off the main road and found this beast of a Joshua Tree. While exploring the area the Joshua trees in this part of the park were much bigger than other areas I had seen. This is just over 120 frames at 30 seconds each and I removed as many planes and satellites as I could but it seems this area gets more air traffic every year.

Enjoy!
