What is ?! You might have been noticing me share it here or there!
It’s a culmination years in the making! It’s our associate photography team that began RIGHT as covid hit.
In its inception it was to work with couples that wanted to work with myself, and Gordie but we were already booked! The best solution to that was to bring on other talented photographers, who had a similar vibe and style to work with us!
To be clear, the vibe is always authentic and fun!
This wedding, Abby & Dylan, photographed 3.14.2020 — literally one day before Arizona shut down! It was also our first official go at this. (I say official, because there were other un-official associate weddings, but I wasn’t sure it was the route I wanted to go. Because honestly, the thought of it was scary!) Anyway, this OFFICIAL go went awesome! We had two weddings this day, which as any photographer who has done this knows, is A. Very special. B. SOOOO NERVE WRACKING! 🤣 Hence my initial hesitancy!
But we did it! Signaling that all systems were ago! And we were ready to do it some more!
The next day, everything got real crazy! The state, the country and world shut down. In case you weren’t there lol!
The ripple effect of that lasted a lot longer than I (or any of us really) could have anticipated!
I mean, it resulted in us moving across the country, twice - for context 🤣🫣
Once we got back to AZ, last summer, I was determined to revive the associate group! But this time to span across Arizona and Illinois! Bringing what I know about both markets into our new team! And so entered JJP Weddings! A carefully selected group that covers photo and content creation. (Maybe one day video!)
A team of photographers, and creatives so passionate about weddings and creating art that it makes my heart pour over with joy!!
As wedding season winds down, til the summer when our Chicago wedding season starts up again - I plan to share and introduce more of the JJP Wedding team and portfolio! I can’t wait to finally GET INTO IT!!
