Some things you only learn about love when you’ve watched it up close.

When you’ve seen the brave, messy, ordinary moments that actually hold a relationship together.

Photographing couples has taught me so much about what love really looks like:
how soft it can be, how hard it can be, how much courage it takes to keep choosing someone even when life feels overwhelming.

It’s made me believe in love more than I ever expected to.
Not because it’s perfect, but because it isn’t.
Because people still try.
Because they show up for each other.
Because even the quietest moments can hold a whole universe.

We’re all just figuring out how to love and be loved, one imperfect moment at a time.

Somewhere along the way, photography started feeling like a test people had to pass.
How to stand. How to look. How to “get it right.”
But the truth?
The moments that stay with you have nothing to do with performing and everything to do with being there with each other, in whatever way feels natural that day.

I’ve photographed so many couples who walked in worried about how they might look
and walked out surprised by how much the experience actually felt like them.

And that starts before the session ever begins.
The planning, the conversations, the small details we craft together
all of it is designed to take the pressure off
so when the day comes, you are already settled in.
Already comfortable.
Already you.

Because that is all I want these sessions to be.
Not stressful.
Not curated to perfection.
Just honest, warm, human time together with someone documenting it in a way that makes sense for your story.

If you have ever felt nervous before a session or wondered whether you would know what to do, it is more normal than you think.
You do not have to show up as anything other than yourselves.
I will take care of the rest. 🤎

LETS TRADE!! 🫶

• A weekend stay at an Airbnb/hotel
• Flights! (fly me out for a photoshoot or wedding somewhere on my bucket list and I’ll be there!)
• Photography studio hours
• Tattoos!!
• Personal training sessions or Pilates/yoga classes
• Branding, design, or website support
• Art/Craft Classes
• Anything that creates a beautiful experience, not just a thing 🫶

I’ve been leaning into giving and receiving experiences instead of things, and it made me realize:
photography, especially wedding photography, fits beautifully into that kind of exchange.

If you’re dreaming up a wedding, elopement, or photo session but the financial side feels a little heavy, I’m open to thoughtful trades that still allow us to create something meaningful together.

This won’t replace my full calendar, but for the right people or the right experience, I’m always willing to explore a trade that lets both of us walk away with something we love.

It’s too easy to trade feeling for perfection.
To make something the algorithm loves
and call it art.

But what’s the point if it doesn’t move you?
If it doesn’t MEAN anything?

I’ve stopped creating for approval.
I want work that lives.
That belongs to the people in it.
That still feels alive when the noise fades.

Because art isn’t supposed to please.
It’s supposed to wake you up and feel.
