As a child, I was excruciatingly shy - my dad would joke that I could blend into the wallpaper, and he wasn't wrong. It's surreal to think about how much I've grown, now spending my days talking to people nonstop. Still, I need my quiet time, and recognizing those needs has been crucial. I see myself in Aidan, and I'm proud to have captured his radiant smile - it just goes to show that us shy folks just need a little time to emerge from our shells.

Mom made it through the photoshoot without getting emotional... until the cap and gown moment. I get it! As a mom, you constantly fall in love with your kid as they grow and evolve. Every new version of themselves means saying goodbye to the old and falling deeply in love with the person they're becoming. You're excited to see what they'll achieve, but it's bittersweet to watch them grow independent. Congrats to all my bright eyed grads! Give your mom extra love the day you walk 🫶

I just heard someone say bumpy roads lead to beautiful places and I thought how true. It's not lost on me how grateful I am for my clients to invest in my art.
