Meet our brilliant and luminous cinematographer - Kristen Meloche.

After art/creative directing in the ad world for 10 years, Kristen made the jump to behind the camera. She has worked with several major national brands creating social media, print and broadcast campaigns. Most recently she was the DP for episodes of Half Life, starring Larisa Oleynik and dp-ed the mockumentary Pretty Dead, during the Women's Weekend Film Challenge. Thrilled to announce the U.S. premiere as an official selection of HBOโ€™s Women in Comedy Festival! Thank you WICF! Pretty Dead will be competing in the Comedy Short Contest presented by NBC in Cambridge, Massachusetts โ€ชon May 4th.โ€ฌ .
The Women in Comedy Festival: Film & Screenplay Competition is hell-bent on paving the way for more unconventional female characters and story-lines to be written, directed, and produced by women. We are looking for female-driven short comedy films that go beyond the typical tropes.
