They told me they never thought they would find love againā€¦ā€ šŸ„¹āœØ

So instead of planning a big wedding, they chose to celebrate this chapter of their story with a portrait experience together. Something intentional. Something meaningful. Something they could hold onto forever.

As I guided them through each pose and showed them the back of my camera, you could literally see the emotion wash over them šŸ˜­ā¤ļø The way they looked at each otherā€¦ the excitement, the tenderness, the disbelief that this was really their love story.

Then she told me something that stayed with me long after they left the studioā€¦

She wants a 40x60 piece of wall art in her home so every single day she can walk by it and be reminded that love still exists. She said walking into my studio and seeing love displayed on the walls made her want that same feeling in her own home. āœØ

And honestlyā€¦ thatā€™s what this experience is really about for me. Creating more than just beautiful images. Creating artwork that reminds you of the life, love, and connection youā€™ve built together.

Iā€™ve had the honor of photographing Sheila through so many chapters of her lifeā€¦ from The Love Campaign, to her engagement session, to her wedding dayā€¦ and now this.

Her doctorate.

This one felt extra special. Not just because of what sheā€™s accomplished, but because Iā€™ve been able to witness her growth every step of the way.

Moments like this are why I love what I do. Itā€™s never just one session, itā€™s a story unfolding over time.
