I recently had the best time photographing this sweet little baby and his amazing parents! The love in their home and between their family was so tangible, and it definitely shows in their pictures. 🥰

How do we keep toddlers happy and engaged during family pictures?

By keeping things playful and fun! We tickle, spin, sing songs, stack rocks, throw sticks, walk together, give kisses, and sneak in lots of snuggles.

This is the perfect way to capture genuine joy, giving us those playful, candid moments as well as a better chance at the perfectly posed shots with everyone smiling at the camera.

My goal is to let their personalities shine through and to show the connection and love you all share.

The result is a full gallery of images that capture joy and your family just as you are in this season. 💛

The past few months have been a beautiful blur as we have welcomed our baby into the family, entertained kids throughout the summer, and recently started our kids in kindergarten and preschool.

I’ve been soaking in all of the newborn cuddles and truly loving this stage of life. It’s busy, a bit chaotic, and just the sweetest.

Even while writing this my eyes tear up a bit thinking of how fast it’s all going and wanting each of them to stay my little kids, while also absolutely loving watching them each grow, learn, and become confident in themselves. What a ride and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

While I’ve been on maternity leave (and taking about a million photos of my own family), I’ve found so much comfort in documenting these constantly changing moments. There’s something about having photos to look back on that makes the changes feel a little easier and helps me find more joy in the passing time.

(I don’t know if that’s normal… but don’t tell me if it’s a personal problem because it is what it is at this point 😂)

BUT ANYWAYS!! This is exactly why I love photography and the joy it brings me to freeze time for YOUR families as well.

I’m so excited and ready to dive back in to work! Fall family pictures and mini session information will be coming soon! 🤗

Feeling incredibly grateful for such a wonderful start to the year! We packed in so many sessions over the past few months as I worked to fit in as many families as possible before starting my maternity leave. It was so fun to see so many returning clients and meet amazing new families as well!

I’ll be honest, I’m super relieved to be caught up on editing and thankful baby girl didn’t make an early debut in the final stretch! 😅 Thank you all for your support, patience, and flexibility. You have made this time so special.

Fun news! We’re so happy to share that our family is growing! This April, we’ll be welcoming a precious baby girl and we couldn’t be more excited! 💕

Between moving into our new home a few months ago, keeping up with my business, and photographing so many amazing families, life has been incredibly busy and I’m beyond grateful for it all. This pregnancy has been flying by and I’m cherishing every moment! (Which is probably why I’m just now making this official announcement and haven’t been the best at posting on social media. 🙈)

I’ll be photographing sessions through March before starting my maternity leave from April through July 2025. Thank you all for your love, support, and understanding. I’m so grateful for this amazing community!
