HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ben Koller!!!!!!

Just when I think I couldn’t fall any more in love with you a global pandemic comes along and you become the foundation, the glue that binds us even more. You deserve the biggest vacation and celebration today, only you will spend your day working your arse off for us, our employees, and our customers. You will stay up all night thinking about all of it and wake up early raring to go. You will still find time to check in with your kids, walk your dog, and reassure me that the world is not ending and if it does it will still be ok. You are the biggest gift I’ve ever received and I wish I could somehow return that every day, not just on your birthday. I hope one day we can have that vacay again. Until then I will have pie and a beer waiting for you. 27 birthday celebrations together! We love you sooooo much Ben. Cheers to what has been the craziest trip around the sun so far!

Life has been crazy the last 16 weeks. (But who’s keeping track? 🤣) Especially when we lost our beloved Moosey in the middle of it all. Yesterday we were blessed with the most heart-filling gift. I would like to introduce you all to . Of coarse she has her own IG. 🤣❤️❤️ So much light in our lives in the past 24 hours. We are all wiped out and trying to survive. But this little gal, who came all the way from upstate New York for us, brought our smiles back for sure. Hope you enjoy all is the doggy posts heading your way! 💕🐾💕🐾

Today I said, “See you later” to my office. My first office that was all officially mine as a photographer. She provided so much more then just a place to work for me. I can’t even put it into words. But I lost all of my photography work for the most part until the fall. And with no rent money being made and no help from the government (don’t get me started).......I hope the people I am sub-leasing her to will love her as much as me. Fingers and toes crossed COVID stays away so I have lots of work in the fall and can once again spend my days in my beautiful office.

Death of the bee. 🐝

We are on week 7 of “sheltering in place”. I haven’t been able to take out my camera. In fact, I’ve been busier then ever these last 7 weeks. If I allow myself to slow down I break down. So “projects” around the house have kept my sanity mostly intact. The other day a bee landed on Kolton’s jeans and tried to sting him. Kolton freaked out and ran inside the house. He is deathly afraid of bees. In fact, we call him the Bee Slayer to tease him about it. Karson picked the dying bee up on a leaf and proceeded to watch it breathe it’s last breathe. Having just watched our beloved lab of 15 years pass a week before, he was lost in the death of this bee. He was silent. Very rare for this kid. All you could hear were the birds and his breathing. Peaceful silence.
