Marianna came to me for branding photos, because she was in the process of a new website, new chapter, and seeking professional images that actually felt like her. My favorite branding projects begin with a conversation about the work someone has built, what matters to them, and the why behind what they do.
Marianna is an experienced luxury interior designer with a beautiful body of work. She’s also an avid equestrian and there’s an elegance to her that shows up everywhere, whether she’s selecting fabric swatches or leading her horse Roxy across an open field. She came to me wanting branding photographs that felt authentic to who she is while communicating the elevated experience she creates for her own clients. We spent one session in a luxe Paradise Valley home, and another up north at the stable her horse calls home, because that land is as much a part of her story as anything she’s designed.
I got her vision right away, drawn to her style and energy. That meeting point between someone else’s vision and my own creative perspective is where I feel most alive, in my work and in my life.
Because my own why has always gone deeper than just making pretty photos. It is about listening closely enough to understand what someone is trying to communicate, and translating that into a visual medium that helps them achieve their own goals.
For me, knowing I have helped others feel seen and comfortable in front of the camera, without feeling like they have to become someone else, has always filled my bucket. Marianna never performed, she just was herself. Beautiful, elegant, comfortable in her own skin - and I think we captured that about her.
Marianna helps her clients feel seen and heard through the spaces she creates. Different creative work. A very similar why.
Thank you, Marianna, for trusting me to help tell this part of your story. It’s been a joy to work with you on your two sessions, and I’m excited for you as you launch into this newest chapter ahead with your rebrand.
