Feeling extra grateful today and want to share the goodness of the Lord with all of you. My husband and I have been searching for a home to buy for the last 3 years and every single house or opportunity has fallen through each time, to the point where I was sure we’d be renting forever. I just wanted a place we could call home permanently and not have to move our kids anymore.

In January I felt the nudge to reach out to our realtor, yet again and see if it was possible to find a home, but with a new construction house this time. I prayed asking the Lord if we were meant to buy now, that He would make this a seamless and easy process because He knew how deeply we longed for this and already had so much disappointment from trying this time and time again.

Immediately our realtor found us a couple homes to tour that next day and ran some numbers for us and it looked promising. I just kept praying that same prayer. The next day we toured a couple houses and we fell in love with the first one we toured and decided to move forward with the process on our drive back home that night. That one felt like home for our family. Ever since that moment, this has been the most simple and easy (not always stress free though haha!) process and He has guided us through it all. Today we signed the (huge stack) of papers on our home and we get the keys tomorrow.

This is just a reminder to whoever needs it that the Lord is always good. Every home in the past has failed because He was saving this one for us. He’s always been faithful, even through the disappointment of failed homes in the past because He saw what we didn’t see and was preparing something so good for us. In times of disappointment, always lean into Him. Only good things can come from Him and His plans are always bigger and better than ours🤍🕊️
