Caitlan and Teddy opted for bridals over an engagement session and their reason behind it is something I hear all the time…
They wanted to spend their wedding day enjoying every second. A slow morning, a relaxed timeline, and actually getting to spend time with their guests at cocktail hour.
But they still wanted all the photos, especially the newlywed portraits. So they chose to do something completely untraditional.
They took them 2 weeks before their wedding.
…Full attire. Caitlan’s wedding gown and Teddy’s tux. We did their first look 2 weeks prior to the actual wedding, and it was amazing, and still just as emotional as it would have been on their wedding day.
Except now after their ceremony, they went straight into cocktail hour. No portraits. Just their specialty cocktails and sharing the excitement of their new marriage with their favorite people.
