The fishnet theory is a metaphor that shares the idea that humans understanding can be compared to a fishnet in the ocean of reality. The size of the holes in the net are the limits of our perception and conceptual frameworks.

I did a thing. People saw my work and I met some incredible supportive and talented artists. For someone that doesn’t leave the house at night, it was a really really cool experience. Thank you to the OVAME Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement, Arizona Art Alliance
for the support and recognition. Congratulations to all the veteran artists.

There is beauty and strength found in vulnerability and by sharing a greater understanding of our diverse realities I hope my work resonates with viewers on an emotional level but also inspires conversations that lead to greater inclusivity and recognition of all individuals’ worth and potential.
