Had the opportunity to take some headshots for a few of my favorite coworkers here at Terracon, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to put the camera to work.

Photography is something I’m passionate about, and although I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like, I’m blessed to be able to bring that passion into my everyday life and share it with the people I work alongside.

This was easily one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve done this year—approaching complete strangers on the beach and asking to take their portraits. It takes confidence, a thick skin, and a willingness to hear “no” more times than you’d expect.

You’d be surprised how many people turn down the offer of free professional photos from a stranger (I know, shocking, right?). But hey, rejection isn’t the worst thing that could happen—trust me!
