I spent the last year of my life just getting by. Not fully committing to my diet, exercise, or job. This year is the time it all changes. One thing I’ve learned is that it takes time, but when you know what you want you have to chase it.

That being said here too a new chapter of life. 24 years of life. Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Back to being the person I used to be. Time to make it happen.

I’ve been rethinking my journey in photography. I mentioned before that I want to make a photobook and recently got a bigger push into that direction. I’ve slowly figured out a way to include video into this journey. There’s no point in waiting until things are just right. Just start. There’s a lot of things I want to work on in my personal life, plan on being open and honest as always. Changing the way I approach clients and just a new way of working. Back to the regularly scheduled program😂.

Hard to find inspiration when you strive to do things differently. Just be you and everything will work out. Why listen to the opinions of other people when they can’t do what you do. Value yourself and what you do. Just because they voice their opinion, doesn’t mean that it’s true.

Social media is full of people pretending to be someone they aren’t. Figured I’d be completely honest and transparent 😂.
Also I cuss a lot and I’m tired of filtering myself. I didn’t in this long ass paragraph but be prepared 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

So yooooooo. I’m KJ. I’ve been taking pictures for about 3 years now and recently started getting into video and I’m starting to really enjoy it. My goal is to do this full time for a career. I’m 23, and born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. I may or may not have anger issues and I cuss a lot😂 but it takes very specific things to trigger me. My dad has a pit bull tattoo with my name under it. Lowkey feel like he knew about my other side way before I did 😂. I have a very small circle of friends who know me better than anyone. I tend to keep to myself because I’m still trying to figure myself out. I recently stopped drinking alcohol and I’m slowly growing into someone different. The one thing I’ve learned is that we are heavily influenced by what we see and hear in our lives. I was raised by 2 parents who are misunderstood by the masses. As i get older I slowly start to understand their techniques as parents and why I was raised the way that I was. At this point in my life I truly feel lost. I have no one in my life who has done what I’ve done or is doing what I am doing. The work I do with my camera is my way of expressing how I’m feeling. My goal in photography isn’t to do weddings or senior pictures. (Although booking info is on my website😆) But to tell stories and be the person I didn’t have in my life. Not to say that I didn’t have support growing up, but I’ve always felt like an outsider in my own life. Almost as if I don’t fit in anywhere. That’s partially where “Kreative” comes from. The other part comes from my inspiration Creative Ryan. I plan on sharing more about myself consistently. Feel free to ask any questions. 🥀

Working with my camera has slowly become my form of therapy. Looking forward to making more videos and hopefully vlogs soon. This is a video I made while working with one of the best barbers in AZ .just.miyah_ her booking info is on her page! More to come in the future. Stay calm, stay cool, stay kreative. It’ll all work itself out in the end.

Photography for me has always been fun, but I’ve started to become too concerned with making money from it or how i could get more likes and interactions. Time to get back into enjoying capturing moments and being kreative so here’s to a new start. A series I’m calling, “Post to no one.”
