Webbersphotography I specialize in Black & White film photography. Negatives I print continue a 1920's family tradition from which my Dad taught me the film to print process.

The Family of Webber Photographers

These "Images of Interest", Wall Art Black & White Film Photography Prints and Art Deco greeting cards, are produced in my darkroom from family negatives dating back to the 1930's. They're the results of a tradition started by my Grandfather and, from that, my Dad taught me the film to print process which I still enjoy very much to this day. My Grandfather, my D

ad, and his brother, my Uncle Joe were all design engineers. However, their passion was photography. Dad and Uncle Joe captured the steam locomotives of their day. Grandfather did still life and landscape images. Dad also created unique "Nite Sites" images during his tenure at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Some of the images are in the permanent collection of the Queens Museum in New York City. The Museum building is the only remaining structure from the 1939 event. Well, a few summers have passed since my starter days in photography but I'm still behind my medium format camera, loaded with Black & White Film waiting to be processed and printed. The pride of hand-crafting photographs is what continues to draw me to the darkroom. It's my purpose as an artist to produce the finest images in keeping with the family tradition of Black & White Film Photography Prints and Art Deco greeting cards. Can anyone tell me how to permanently delete an Amazon listing? Their CS wasn't interested in my request but stated that once on Amazon, always on Amazon. Not good.

“DEFECTS” – if anyone has purchased my HICO History book recently, you may find Chapter 6 to be unacceptable. If so, request a refund and DO NOT seek a replacement. I’m working to resolve the printing error and will announce the results soon. If you’re still interested, you may wish to reorder a proper copy then. Thanks-Hank

Summer's here and the scene is green! Time to use my favorite film, Ilford SFX 200 InfraRed. It tends to make a blue sky darker and captures green foliage as a "Twilight Zone" white. It' an interesting effect to me.
"Sugar Shack", shown, is a photograph I created of an abandoned pump house in farm field in Harmony, NJ.

"Crayons" I printed this photograph in my darkroom and then hand colored the word "experience" along with a few yellow crayons. The site is the Crayola office in Easton, PA. Reason - I was invited to exhibit in the Warren County Seniors Art Show. The finished piece includes a custom acid-free mat that I cut and then drew, on that mat, an India ink accent line one inch around the print. All was then put into a metal frame I assembled complete with a 16 x 20 light (art industry term for glass).
When I delivered my exhibition piece at the show HQ, I asked the folks if my frame was large enough for all the awards. They just politely smiled and wished me the best. Gotta think big!

FINALLY - all my images and text were sent to my editor as of yesterday to create a working manuscript. Should be completed shortly. Next challenge is to find an honest publisher. Challenge thereafter is to find an honest marketing program to sell the book. I'm a lot closer than January 2023 when I started this project. Since I sued my original publisher, I gotten more help from any number of people wanting to see the book become a reality. I'm grateful.

"A long time ago"... leaders of the Central NJ Chapter of the Professional Photographers of America. Portrait had to be taken prior to 2004 since, in 2004, I was elected as President. That would have put me in the seat that Dick Gaffney has in this image, two to my right. Great people, great fun. Fabulous portrait done by Keith Mills, former chapter member.
