It’s because of these two that I’ve photographed so many Wong Kar-wai inspired and Chinatown-inspired couples sessions 🥹✨ And now, they’re saying goodbye to the city that holds so much of their story.
There’s something I’ll always love about photographing couples in love: sometimes you don’t need to see every detail of their faces to feel everything.
The first photo is one of my favorites because even without seeing too much of them, you can still tell they’re completely locked in on one another—and smiling 🥹♥️
And the second? Their hands. ✨
I’m always paying attention to the little things during a couples session, especially when two people instinctively search for each other’s hands. It’s such a quiet but telling sign of love—the kind you don’t have to pose or direct.
I’ll forever love these two for so many reasons. They brought me to France, introduced my work to their closest friends and siblings, and somehow brought me two more weddings where I get to see them again.
But honestly? It’s easy to love them.
