The 30th St. Main Post Office in Philadelphia, recently shot for Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, receives a 2012 National Preservation Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Congratulations!

The National Trust for Historic Preservation will honor the 30th Street Main Post Office with a 2012 National Preservation Honor Award on November 2 in Spokane, Washington.

Bohlin Cywinski Jackson served as lead architect and worked in collaboration with BNIM for the project. This LEED Gold certified, 926,000sf adaptive-reuse project transforms a five-story, 1930s-era mail distribution facility into a modern office building. The project was one of the largest ever historic rehabilitations in the country.
