Today on Lunch Break, we react to three confessions:
The Secret 5-Star Review (en français): After her boyfriend was torn down at work and reconsidered a promotion, she wrote an anonymous French review to lift him up—and it meant more to him than to his bosses. She’s in Canada, so French felt natural; he even texted a screenshot and got emotional.
“Pretending I Know Everything”: A mini-confession about always acting like you’re right—and finally admitting you don’t have to know it all.
“Okay, Dad.” New job nerves → a meeting slip where OP called the boss “dad.” Cue silence, then relentless nicknames all shift. Painfully relatable.
