Allison + Matthew | Philadelphia Zoo

This wedding was very special. Allison and I started our friendship as pen pals, talking about hockey and our lives and what kind of music we listened to. But both of us got busy and bad at sending letters and decided sending messages on Instagram was a little bit easier. Then, she met Matthew. After their first date, she sent me an excited message to tell me that it had been the best first date of her life and she was already sure she would marry him. The rest is history. They fit together so easily, almost glow with love, and it was such an honor to be a part of their wild ride of a day!

Summer, full of wind and sunburns and a thousand flowers. It’s the time when it’s most exciting to try to “make it” as a photographer because it’s when most people want to hire a photographer. You can have a wedding outdoors or take your family photos out in a field without snow drifts and the threat of frost bite. I’ve been neglecting my Instagram in favor of rolling around in all those summer things, but I’m still here! Still taking photos! Getting distracted by my puppy. Feeling very excited to second shoot my first wedding of the season this weekend with .
