The most inspired styled shoot at the highlands mansion. I love when I can start the year off by stretching myself, learning something new, and photographing something that inspires me and this shoot was all of that and more.

A huge thank you to for being an amazing mentor and making this vision come to life. And to every vendor who put their incredible talent into this day.

Our models Sabrina and Pranav get married in just one month and this was the perfect way for them to enjoy the last few weeks of their engagement. Their love and their energy was contagious and it was so fun to work with them.

Some engagement sessions feel less like a photoshoot and more like an experience.

Olivia and Kevin’s sunset cruise with sea Philly is the perfect example of why I always encourage my couples to think beyond a “location” and instead plan an activity you love!

When you’re doing something together—steering a boat, opening a bottle of wine, watching the skyline change as the sun drops—you naturally settle into each other. It feels familiar and natural. The movement, the laughter, the quiet moments… it all unfolds without forcing anything.

That’s when the photographs become honest.

One of the biggest misconceptions about engagement sessions is that they’re about learning poses. But the truth is, the best photos rarely come from posing.

They come from presence.

From cultivating an environment where you can forget the camera is there.

So when couples ask how to make their engagement session feel natural, my answer is almost always the same:

Plan something that already feels like you.

A boat ride.
A slow morning at your favorite café.
An evening walk through the city you love.

Your engagement session isn’t just about photos.
It’s the first chapter of your wedding story.
