New York City.

Everywhere my feet land is home to me—or at least that’s how it feels. These feet carry me to and fro, guiding my body to what my eyes are meant to see.

Today, my feet land in Brooklyn, looking out at the iconic Manhattan skyline. Stillness meeting motion, in this 140-second exposure, you can walk right across the river.

It was my preferred sport of Football that facilitated my way to college, where I earned my degree in Criminal Justice. (Prolly should have played corner in college, but I digress)

I even had the opportunity to torch ninjas on an NFL field. As a 3 year starter my college career was successful, but ended with surgery on my right knee, December 4, 2003.

I was in a very depressed state. My speed could no longer be my identity, and that this is the highest level that I will compete. Football was over for me. But who am I without it?

For the first time in my life, thanks to the dedicated support from my college sweetheart Bern da Fern .c_ and my good friend Em-easy, a revelation occurred within me.

I am smart! Like really really smart!
C student but genius level intellect!

That injury at that time was the best thing to ever happen in my life to date. Helping me realize that my intellect will take me further than football ever could!

I loved every second that I spent on the field, battling with my Roman & SPC brothers!
Because of y’all, I Am!
Love yall.
