One day your great-grandchildren will find your wedding album in a trunk and ask, "who are these people?"

When I met my most recent bride, she reflected the millennial mindset. Why hire a photographer? I want to party, and I do not want to waste my precious time taking photos.

I was flattered and honored that she trusted me. She felt that I understood her and her vision for the day. The wedding and the photos are most special to the bride and groom, not other photographers.

I have no idea when we will be capturing the moments as we once did, but I am happy we got to do some before the social distancing. Beauty and Grace are performed whether or not we will or sense them. The least we can try to do is be there.
