Everyone deserves to see themselves the way the people who love them do. For 25+ years, I've been making pictures that help people recognize themselves, and I've learned that the technical part is the easy half. Before I ever picked up a camera, I was in front of one. I know exactly how it feels to walk into a studio and not know what to do with your hands. That's why my sessions don't feel like regular sessions. We talk, we figure out who you are on that particular day, we play your favorite music, and the camera just happens to be in the room. That approach has taken me from Miss World and Miss USA productions to portraits of Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, Ricky Martin, Sting, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and into the pages of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Forbes, Fortune, and Time. Along the way, my work has been recognized with the Portrait Masters Award and PDN's "Best Picture." But the sessions I think about most aren't the famous ones. They're the ones where someone arrived apologizing for how they photograph, and left asking for the file to send to their mother. Headshots, personal branding, fashion, editorial, and commercial work. Hours of operation are Eastern Time, Mon-Fri: 09:00am - 06:00pm and Sat: 10:00am to 05:00pm; closed on Sundays. Being a model taught me what it feels like to be vulnerable in front of the lens. Being a photographer taught me how much responsibility I have for the confidence of the person standing on the other side of it.

One thing I've learned is that confidence isn't always something you walk into a photoshoot with. Sometimes, it's something you discover during the experience.

And that's where I believe the photographer plays a much bigger role than simply taking beautiful pictures.

My job isn't just to find the right lighting, composition, or angle. It's to create an environment where people feel comfortable, understood, and confident enough to let their true personalities come through.

Hello & WELCOME! It's been a while since I shared anything about myself (and also, for my new followers who don't know me), so I figured it's time for a little (re)introduction.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ I grew up in India as the son of a Theater Director, and always knew I wanted to be a storyteller at heart. I started as a child actor, then became a model. At my fatherโ€™s insistence, I picked up the camera to learn the finer points of visual storytelling and hone my creativity, and thatโ€™s when I fell in love with life behind the camera.

โญ After excelling in two intensive photography programs, I found early success at 19, working with the India Today Group (a leading Indian media conglomerate), shooting cover stories and celebrity editorials, including an early publication in Time magazine.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ I moved to the US at 25, and enrolled in the School of Visual Arts in New York. Since that pivotal move, I have been a regular presence at New York Fashion Week and Philly Fashion Week, contributed to productions like Miss World and Miss USA, and photographed global celebrities. Iโ€™ve also been published in top magazines including Harperโ€™s Bazar, Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Fortune, and Forbes.

๐Ÿ“ท As a photographer, I fell in love with portraiture, and it has now spanned celebrity portraits, editorials, fashion & beauty photography, model portfolios, corporate & event photography, branding, as well as commercial campaigns & imagery, plus video production. I've also directed 2 TV shows and a documentary.

๐Ÿข My main studio is in Philadelphia, PA, but I also maintain a studio space in NYC.

โค๏ธ No matter how busy my life gets, I make it a priority to spend time with my wife and three amazing children. On occasion, I am known to cook - food is one of the ways I express my love towards my friends and family. I also enjoy traveling - so far, Iโ€™ve been to 25 states in the US and 30 countries internationally.
